The John S. Ayton State Tree Nursery is taking orders for bare root hardwood and conifer seedlings. Most species have a minimum order quantity of 25. You can place an order online and have trees shipped directly to your residence or contact the county Forest Service Office for assistance with placing your order. If you have a larger area you would like to plant (1 acre or more), there are tree planting assistance programs available that may cover up to 100% of the planting cost.
