New State Champion White Pine

Garrett County has a new champion! This eastern white pine was officially measured by Forestry Board member Mike Kozier and Forester Melissa Nash in late December. With a total score of 308.7, it has been confirmed as the new Garrett County and Maryland State Champion eastern white pine! The tree is located on private property near Oakland.
