Poster Contest Winners Announced

Congratulations to the following 5th grade students for winning at the Garrett County level of the Maryland Arbor Day Poster Contest! We had a total of 49 entries this year!

1st Place - Allison Thrush (Crellin Elementary)

2nd Place - Olivia Maust (Accident Elementary)

3rd Place - Raegan Burdock (Route 40 Elementary)

These students will receive monetary prizes from the Garrett County Forestry Board and Allison's poster will advance to the state contest! Winners should expect to receive an award letter through their teacher this coming week with more details. Congratulations and thank you to everyone who participated!
