Tree Farm Inspector of the Year Recognized

Tim Cole was recognized on the floor of the Maryland Senate today as the 2022 Maryland State and Northern Regional Tree Farm Inspector of the Year! Tim is a Forest Ranger responsible for delivering forestry assistance and implementing the Tree Farm program in Garrett County in far western Maryland for the MD Forest Service. Tim has been in this position since 2013 and has been a certified Tree Farm inspector since 2014. Garrett County currently has a total of 62 Tree Farms on 10,143 acres. So far this year, Tim has completed 22 Tree Farm inspections on a total of 2,790 acres. Tim is also a Tree Farmer himself and manages his family's forested property in Garrett County! Congratulations Tim!
